The National Youth Service Corp is a one year scheme set up to involve Graduates in nation building. Artist and serving Corper Redwine Eccentric originally named Rawlings Gudi in a recent interview disclosed the reason behind he’s New look and more.

“Life as we know is full of changes that’s the only constant thing here.
Wearing Dread is something I’ve always looked forward to as I’ve always been known to carry only coloured hair in the past. So when I came to service I saw it as an great opportunity to to wear the look just for fun. And even though some people feel in love with the look especially ladies, others judged me at first sight and quite frankly I wasn’t comfortable with the impression – it took a lot of explanation to let them know that I am not my hair. SARS and the police na another Wahala even though them never harrass me before sha. One day I was walking on the road in port Harcourt then came I came across a mad man on Dreads I mean the Original Dada, I didn’t like what I saw. It was then I made the decision to cut the dreads.

So yes! I refuse to be a ghost Corper because I wanted to have the full experience of NYSC I didn’t want to seem like a JJC among my friends when they speak about their personal experiences. I want to be able to share mine too.
