Dear Christians, Binding the spirit of poverty does not work, because poverty is not a spirit,. It is a consequence. Poverty is the consequence of many factors, including: ignorance, laziness, being unimaginative, having too many children, illiteracy, living an undisciplined life and replacing work with prayer! So, stop binding poverty. It is not only nonsensical, it is very unscriptural. Job was rich because he had many businesses. Lydia of Thyatria was wealthy because she traded in purple linen. Nobody in Scripture became rich by binding poverty! “See you a man diligent in his BUSINESS? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before obscure men” – Prob. 22:29
